Early on Sunday morning, a large fire started in the Ramnagar forest division, according to officials.

As of yet, no casualties have been reported.

More information is anticipated.

Meanwhile, authorities in Jammu and Kashmir reported that a forest fire broke out on Sunday near Gangera Hill in the Udhampur district.

Personnel from the forest department moved quickly to contain the fire after learning of it.

The fire destroyed large tracts of forest and resulted in an estimated loss of timber and other natural resources valued at crores of rupees, according to the early estimate of the forest officials.

For the past three days, Daya Dhar in the Ghordi Block of the Udhampur District of Jammu and Kashmir has been the scene of another large forest fire.

Over this time, the fire has become more intense, and in spite of constant efforts to put it out, it is still uncontained. Peacocks inhabit the Daya Dhar forest area in large numbers, and it is certain that the fire has harmed these majestic birds. Not only have other animals and the ecology as a whole been damaged by the disappearance of flora, but also the peacocks.

The local population, wildlife, and ecology are seriously threatened by the forest fires in the Udhampur area. There are extensive repercussions when dangerous contaminants are released into the atmosphere and vegetation is destroyed. Ecosystem disruption and wildlife extinction are also major concerns
