Activist reveals horror of how China “forced” a Covid-positive student to work and “covered up” his death.
An activist has revealed the horrific conditions that a Covid-positive student was forced to work in and how his death was “covered up” by the Chinese authorities. The student, who has not been named, was working at a factory in the city of Wuhan when he became ill with the virus. Despite showing symptoms of the disease, he was not given any time off work and was forced to continue working.
The student eventually became so ill that he was hospitalised, but by that time it was too late and he died shortly afterwards. The Chinese authorities have been accused of “covering up” the student’s death and of forcing him to work in dangerous conditions. This is just one example of the many stories that are emerging from China about the way that the country has been handling the Covid-19 pandemic.
