After a blast at a Bengaluru cafe, Delhi Police are on alert

The Delhi Police are on high alert following a cafe explosion in Bengaluru, resulting in 10 injuries. Local units have been instructed to increase their deployment in high-footfall markets and patrol vital installations.

The owners of Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe expressed their deep sadness over the IED blast and are cooperating with authorities and officials in their investigations.

On Friday at 1 pm, surveillance footage showed a suspect allegedly placing a bag inside a cafe, leading to police suspicion.

Karnataka Minister Dr G Parameshwara announced the formation of multiple teams and collected evidence from CCTV footage related to an explosion at Bengaluru’s cafe. He stated that the accused was on a bus and plans to arrest them as soon as possible.

The matter is being investigated by a team comprising of FSL, Bomb Disposal Squad, and Dog Squad.

The FSL team is conducting a blast investigation, with CM Siddaramaiah leading a meeting with high-level police officials at 1 pm, following a timer used for the incident.
