After AAP defeats BJP in MCD election, Kejriwal asks PM Modi for his blessing
After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won a landslide victory in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections, party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek his blessings.
In a tweet, Kejriwal said, “I met PM Modi and requested him to bless the people of Delhi.”
The AAP’s victory in the MCD elections is being seen as a boost for the party ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, which are scheduled to be held early next year.
