Raja Pateriya, a Congress leader, was detained after making comments about Prime Minister Modi. Pateriya had said that Modi was “worse than a terrorist”, and accused him of “destroying the country”.
Raja Pateriya was detained from his residence a day after he was booked for allegedly asking people to “kill” Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The veteran Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh minister was detained on Tuesday in connection with his controversial remarks on the PM.
The former state minister for technical education said he was talking about defeating him politically, not in the sense of hurting minorities and Dalits’ rights to self-determination.
