The Congress has alleged that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is registered as a voter in different places in two assembly segments in Hyderabad. The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee vice president G Niranjan has written to the Election Commission with the allegations.
Niranjan attached the voters’ lists for the two constituencies he claimed to have acquired from the Electoral Commission’s website, saying, “This illustrates the irresponsibility of an elected member of parliament and also recklessness of election machinery in publishing the final voters’ list.”
