The inter-state dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka over the sharing of the Krishna river water has been a bone of contention for many years now. The matter has been taken to the Supreme Court on many occasions, but a final decision has not been reached.

Now, it seems that the government is finally ready to take decisive action on the matter. Amit Shah, the Minister of Home Affairs, will be leading a ministerial delegation to Maharashtra and Karnataka to try and resolve the dispute once and for all.

This is a positive development, as the sooner the dispute is resolved, the better it will be for the people of both states. Hopefully, Amit Shah and his team will be able to find a solution that is acceptable to both sides.
