Annalena Baerbock, the foreign minister of Germany, is in India for two days. She is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other high-ranking officials to discuss a range of issues, including trade, investment, and security.

This is Baerbock’s first visit to India as foreign minister, and comes at a time when relations between the two countries are strong. India is one of Germany’s key partners in Asia, and the two countries have been working closely together on a number of issues in recent years.

During her time in India, Baerbock is also scheduled to visit the German-funded Max Mueller Bhavan in Delhi, which promotes German culture and language in India. She will also be meeting with a number of Indian business leaders to discuss investment opportunities in Germany.
