Adani Wilmar, one of India’s leading FMCG companies, is expecting sales growth in the mid single digits for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The company attributed the expected growth to an increase in demand for its products, especially in the rural markets.

Adani Wilmar is a leading player in the edible oil, rice, and pulses segment in India. The company has a strong presence in the rural markets and has been successful in building a loyal customer base.

The company is hopeful that the sales growth in the third quarter will help it offset the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on its business.

Adani Wilmar Ltd said its sales would grow in high single digits in the third quarter, helped by strong demand during the festive season.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, standalone sales volume will increase by high teens.
