At four degrees, Delhi shivers; Rajasthan and Punjab are also affected | Top updates
Delhi woke up to a cold and foggy morning today with the minimum temperature settling at four degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average. The Met office has forecast a cold day ahead for the city with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 17 degrees Celsius.
Rajasthan and Punjab are also reeling under the cold wave with Churu, Sikar, Pilani, and Sriganganagar recording minimum temperatures below zero degrees Celsius.
No relief from cold wave which has swept several north Indian states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that cold wave conditions are likely to stay for another 24 hours over Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Delhi.
