Amit Shah commended PM Modi for laying the foundation stone for Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for implementing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ending the controversial law and raising the Indian flag in Kashmir, during an election rally in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.

PM Modi fulfilled all promises made since BJP’s foundation, ending Article 370 in Kashmir and raising the Indian flag in the region, as former PM Jawaharlal Nehru committed a blunder by implementing it.

The Congress party has been deviating from the Ram Temple issue for 70 years, but PM Modi has not only laid the foundation stone but also performed the Pratistha on January 22.

Amit Shah mentioned Nehru during a day when S Jaishankar accused him of deeming the Katchatheevu island a “nuisance.”

In May 1961, then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru expressed his disapproval of a small island and expressed his willingness to abandon their claim to it. He disliked the issue of the island lingering indefinitely and being repeatedly raised in parliament. Pandit Nehru, on the other hand, viewed the island as a nuisance and believed that giving it away would be better.

Amit Shah has previously attributed Jammu and Kashmir’s issues to Nehru.

Amit Shah criticized Nehru in the Lok Sabha for declaring a ceasefire without winning Kashmir during the 1948 India-Pakistan war and taking the Pakistan-Pakistan dispute to the United Nations.

Shah defended the Nehruvian blunder, stating that Kashmir suffered due to two blunders during Jawaharlal Nehru’s tenure. The first was declaring a ceasefire when the army was winning, which would have allowed PoK to become part of India today. The second was taking the internal issue to the UN, as if a ceasefire had been imposed after three days, PoK would have been part of India today.

Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Karnataka today to address the Sakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan at Palace Ground in Bengaluru.
