Cameron Green and Josh Hazlewood made history by combining for Australia’s highest 10th wicket partnership in Test cricket against New Zealand.

The pair dominated New Zealand’s bowling attack in Wellington, putting on 116 runs for the final wicket, surpassing the previous record of 114 from Jason Gillespie and Glenn McGrath in 2004.

Australia’s stand of 100 runs or more for the 10th wicket in Test cricket helped them post a 383 score in their first innings after a challenging opening day.

Green’s unbeaten 174-run Test century, coupled with a patient innings and an attacking approach, boosted Australia’s performance, marking their second Test century.

Australian duo Green and Green used their power to score the fourth highest partnership of all time for the 10th wicket.
