Since his debut in 2015, Babar Azam has been one of the most consistent batsmen in world cricket. He has scored runs consistently in all three formats of the game and is currently the number one ranked T20I batsman in the world.

His Test career began in 2016 and he has already played 24 Test matches. In the recently concluded Test series against England, Babar Azam replaced Steve Smith as the number three batsman and scored his highest Test score to date of 143. He also made quick progress alongside Pujara, Iyer, and Kuldeep.

Babar Azam is still only 25 years old and has a lot of cricket ahead of him. If he can continue to score runs at the top of the order, he will surely become one of the best batsmen in the world.
