Bengaluru’s BS Yediyurappa responds to a complaint of sexual assault

The Bengaluru police has initiated a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 against BS Yediyurappa.

BJP leader BS Yediyurappa confirmed a sexual assault complaint against him by the Karnataka police, stating a woman he helped started talking against him, but ruled out a political conspiracy.

A woman filed a complaint against the author, who ignored her complaints. After contacting the police commissioner, the woman began to speak against the author. The author initially believed she was unwell and requested an investigation. However, the complaint was twisted into an FIR, and the author plans to contest the legal proceedings.

The speaker denies any political conspiracy and assures that the complaint will be handled legally.

A 17-year-old girl’s mother has filed a complaint against BJP leader, alleging sexual assault during a recent meeting.

Karnataka home minister G Parameshwara confirmed a complaint has been filed, but declined to provide further details.

G Parameshwara stated that the woman submitted the complaint to the police.

A woman filed a complaint against BS Yeddiyurappa, and the police have registered the complaint. The individual cannot comment on the details until the investigation is complete.

What was stated in the complaint?

The woman alleges that the 81-year-old BJP leader sexually assaulted her daughter on February 2.

Police have arrested BS Yediyurappa under sections 8 of the POCSO Act and Section 354 A of the IPC.

Yediyurappa, a prominent BJP leader in Karnataka, has served as the state’s chief minister four times and as the Leader of the Opposition three times.
