The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly criticized the Aam Aadmi Party’s statement that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will run the government from jail, claiming only “gangs” operate within the prison.

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Manoj Tiwari claimed that Delhi residents are distributing sweets to celebrate Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, accusing him of looting the national capital.

Kejriwal’s government has caused immense misery in Delhi, leading to the distribution of sweets after his arrest. The people are angry with him, and they accuse his government of looting and filling their pockets, highlighting his actions as a crime.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday night in connection with a liquor policy case, becoming the incumbent chief minister to be jailed.

AAP announced that Arvind Kejriwal will continue as the Chief Minister of Delhi and will oversee the government from jail.

The BJP has formally demanded the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal on moral grounds.

Manoj Tiwari criticized those who claim to run the government from jail, citing instances where gangs have been run from jail rather than the government.

Party wants Arvind Kejriwal to stay in office, according to AAP

AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has stated that his party is in favor of continuing Arvind Kejriwal.

Congress supports AAP while the BJP criticises it

BJP leader Sambit Patra has stated that Arvind Kejriwal is being punished for his corruption.

Arvind Kejriwal and his team faced corruption charges in various courts, including the Supreme Court, but were unsuccessful. They were forced to withdraw their application and were sent to remand by the lower court.
