The BJP MP from Arunachal Pradesh, Tapir Gao, has strongly condemned the Chinese PLA for intervening in the recent LAC incident. A video of his speech has gone viral on social media.

In the video, Gao can be seen slamming the Chinese PLA for their “unprofessional and provocative” behaviour. He also said that the people of Arunachal Pradesh are “not afraid” of the Chinese and would “stand up to them” if they try to push them around.

Gao’s speech has been widely praised by social media users, who have called it “brave” and “powerful”. Many have also lauded him for speaking up for the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

The incident in question took place on the night of 15th June, when a group of Chinese soldiers reportedly crossed the LAC in the northernmost part of the Indian state of Sikkim. The Indian army has said that the soldiers were “forced back” after a “physical confrontation”.

This is not the first time that Gao has spoken out against China. In 2017, he had criticised the Chinese for building a road in the Doklam area, which is disputed territory between China and Bharat
