GN Saibaba, a 54-year-old wheelchair-bound and 100% disabled individual, is currently residing in Nagpur Central Jail.

The Bombay high court acquitted GN Saibaba and five others in the Maoist link case, setting aside the 2017 verdict of a Nagpur sessions court, which had convicted the professor and others.

The Bombay high court acquitted GN Saibaba of a disability case after rehearing his appeal, following an earlier bench’s acquittal on October 14, 2022.

GN Saibaba, a 54-year-old wheelchair-bound and 99% disabled individual, is currently residing in Nagpur Central Jail.

In March 2017, GN Saibaba and others were convicted in Gadchiroli for alleged Maoist links and war-related activities by a sessions court.
