Breaking: 13,811 new cases of COVID are reported in China
The number of new cases of COVID-19 in China has risen to 13,811, according to the latest data from the country’s National Health Commission. This is an increase of 2,656 from the day before. The death toll from the virus now stands at 1,380.
Covid test results are no longer needed in Shenzhenzhen to enter public transport, drug stores, parks and outdoor tourism spots. China reported 32,206 new Covid cases for Friday. Top government officials this week signaled a transition away from the harshest containment measures.
