The capital has long been associated with foggy weather, but recent trends suggest that this may no longer be the case. In fact, over the past few years, the capital has experienced more clear days than ever before. This is likely due to a combination of factors, including climate change and urbanization.

As the capital continues to grow and develop, it is likely that the trend of clear days will continue. This could have a number of impacts on the city, from improved air quality to more opportunities for outdoor activities. Whatever the case, it is clear that the capital’s weather is changing, and that Foggy Bottom may soon be a thing of the past.

An analysis of the chemical composition of fog in northwest India has found that it is changing from white and thick to grey and acrid.

In other words, the city no longer encounters fogs; instead, pollution predominates.

According to the study, a significant amount of chlorides, sulphates, nitrates, and calcium and ammonium ions were found in the episodes of fog analysed during a five-year period. All of these substances are primarily by-products of vehicle emissions, garbage burning, and construction activities.
