India’s Ishan Kishan has scored the quickest double century in ODI history, breaking the previous record held by West Indies’ Chris Gayle.

Kishan reached his 200 off just 147 balls, which is 12 balls fewer than Gayle’s 159-ball effort against Zimbabwe in 2015.

The 22-year-old’s innings included 22 boundaries and 8 sixes, as he helped India post a massive total of 427/8 from their 50 overs.

It was a stunning performance from Kishan, who was only making his third ODI appearance. He’s certainly one to watch for the future.
