Cong leader Raja Pateria’s request for bail following his statement about Prime Minister Modi is denied by the court.
The court has denied the bail request of Congress leader Raja Pateria, who made a statement against Prime Minister Modi. Pateria is currently in jail for his involvement in a corruption case.
The special court had heard the arguments of both sides and upheld the government’s decision to dismiss the case.
Defence counsel said he was kept in judicial custody for eight days in a false case against his co-accused.
