In 1962, during a debate in the Indian Parliament regarding the India-China border incident, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi criticised Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for his handling of the situation. Owaisi accused Nehru of “betraying” the people of India and giving away Indian territory to China.

The opposition parties have intensified their attack on the BJP-led central government over clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers along the contested Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunchal Pradesh. The ongoing winter session of Parliament witnessed disruption as opposition MPs submitted adjournment motion notice.

Pawan Khera said no one called Atal Bihari Vajpayee “anti-national” for taking out a march against the government.
