Discussion sparked by Trinamool leader’s “neither male nor female” tweet about PM Modi’s outfit; “Clarify…or face action”
A Trinamool Congress leader’s recent tweet about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s outfit has sparked a discussion on social media. The leader, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, tweeted on Sunday that the PM was “wearing neither male nor female clothes”.
While some users supported Mr. Bandyopadhyay’s view, others said that he should clarify his comments or face action from the party.
The Trinamool Congress leader’s tweet came days after the Prime Minister was seen wearing a traditional Assamese outfit, the gamosa, during his visit to the state.
