The external affairs ministry announced that Jaishankar will commence his five-day official visit on March 23.

The ministry announced that the visit will bolster bilateral relations with the three countries and facilitate discussions on regional issues of mutual concern.

India and Singapore, close allies in the ASEAN, have established a real-time digital payment system link last year, enabling instant and cost-effective fund transfers, enhancing their ties in trade, defence, and security.

India has boosted its defence ties with the Philippines, becoming the first overseas customer for the BrahMos cruise missile developed by India and Russia, and has backed Manila’s stance on South China Sea territorial disputes.

India and Malaysia have attempted to restore relations since Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim took office in 2022, despite a cooling relationship due to various issues.
