New Delhi-based Godi India, a cell maker, has announced new technologies to increase the range of electric vehicles (EVs). The company has developed a new cell chemistry that can increase the range of EVs by up to 30%. The new chemistry can be used in both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.
Godi India has also developed a new battery management system that can increase the range of EVs by up to 15%. The system can be used in both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.
The company has been working on these technologies for the past two years and has filed for patents in India and the US.
“With these technologies, we can increase the range of EVs by up to 45%. This will help accelerate the adoption of EVs in India and other markets,” said Godi India CEO Ravi Gupta.
The new technologies will be showcased at the upcoming Electric Vehicle Symposium in New Delhi.
