The Competition Commission of India (CCI) recently ordered Google to pay a fine of Rs. 136 Crore for unfair business practices related to its Android devices. Google has contested this order, claiming that it will hurt Indian users.

Google has said that the CCI’s order is based on a “flawed economic analysis” and that it “ignores the fact that Android is open source”. The company has also claimed that the order will lead to higher prices for Android devices in India.

Google has said that it will appeal the CCI’s order.
