If you’re like me, you love using Instagram to find new products and brands. Whether you’re scrolling through your feed or looking at Stories, there’s always something new to discover. That’s why I was disappointed to hear that, in February, Instagram will be eliminating the shopping tab from the home feed.

I understand that the company is trying to streamline the app and make it more user-friendly, but I think this is a step in the wrong direction. Shopping on Instagram was one of my favorite features, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

I hope that, as the app continues to evolve, they’ll reconsider this decision and bring back the shopping tab. In the meantime, I’ll be using other platforms to find new products to buy.
