The Morbi bridge was closed for repairs in October 2022, after being closed for six months for maintenance work. The toll bridge reopened on 26 October 2022 on the occasion of the Gujarati New Year. Oreva’s managing director said people could enjoy a “care-free adventure” and the bridge would not need any major work for another eight to ten years.
