28 people were slain in a big fire at a gaming zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, on May 25, including a newlywed couple, according to news.

When the event happened on Saturday night, Akshay Dholaria and his bride, Khyati Svaliwea, were celebrating their courtship at the TRP Game Zone. Among the dead was also Khyati’s sister.

Their families said that Akshay, 24, who was living in Canada with his parents, had come to Rajkot to tie the knot with Khyati, 20. On May 18, the pair wed in court, and later this year, a lavish Hindu wedding ceremony was planned.

their bodies were so badly burned that they were unrecognisable. The ring that Akshay was wearing helped them identify his body, but Khyati and her sister’s remains have been sent for DNA testing.
