Imran Khan’s alleged “sex call” goes viral; party calls it a fake.
Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, is facing criticism after an audio recording of an alleged phone conversation between him and a woman went viral on social media.
In the recording, a man, purportedly Khan, is heard discussing sexual acts with a woman. The PTI has condemned the release of the recording, calling it a “fake” and “unethical” attempt to damage Khan’s reputation.
This is not the first time Khan has been embroiled in a sex scandal. In 2010, an explicit video of Khan and his then-wife Reham Khan surfaced online. Khan denied the authenticity of the video, and a court later ruled that it was fake.
Khan is a controversial figure in Pakistan, and his opponents have often used sexual allegations against him to try and discredit him. However, Khan has always denied any wrongdoing, and his supporters believe that these latest allegations are part of a smear campaign against him.
