India doesn’t vote in favour of the UN resolution exempting aid from sanctions.

It’s been a week since the UN resolution was passed, and India is still not on board. The resolution, which would exempt humanitarian aid from sanctions, has been met with strong opposition from India, who doesn’t believe that it goes far enough. India has been a vocal critic of the UN’s response to the humanitarian crisis in Syria, and this latest resolution is just another example of the UN’s inaction. Indian officials have said that they will only support the resolution if it is amended to include a provision for military intervention. Without Indian support, the resolution is unlikely to pass.
