Joe Biden lashes out at a reporter who inquired about giving Kamala Harris control.

When a reporter questioned Joe Biden about whether he would give Kamala Harris the presidency before January 2029 or serve out his entire second term, Biden became irate. This incident happened prior to the president speaking at a rally in a school gym that was only partially packed.

“Are you alright?” Standing across the tarmac at Philadelphia International Airport, Biden responded with a yell. “Are you okay? Is there anything hurting you?

The reporter, unable to hear clearly, inquired as to Biden’s “approachability.” “Are you alright, I asked? Did you bump into your head or what? Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.), among others in Biden’s entourage, erupted in laughter as he shouted once more.

Biden would be 86 years old if he were to serve a full term. Because of his age, Republicans sometimes suggest that voting for Biden is the same as voting for Harris to take over in the Oval Office. Based on several surveys, the majority of Americans express concern that the president’s advanced age may prevent him from serving an eight-year term in office.

On the third day of the virtual Democratic National Convention, Harris became the first Black woman and Indian-American to win a major party’s vice presidential nomination, making history in US politics at the time.

“Her narrative is the tale of America. She is aware of all the challenges faced by a great number of people in our nation. Immigrants, South Asian Americans, Black Americans, and women. The ones excluded and those abandoned. At the time, Biden stated of Harris, “She has overcome every obstacle she has ever faced.”
