Dear Yesterday, Today,

I am writing to you from the Bharat Jodo Yatra, where I am currently narrating the history of the Covid cloud. It has been an incredible journey so far, and I have been absolutely amazed by the response of the people we have met along the way.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra is a pilgrimage of sorts, undertaken by a group of us in an effort to understand the history of the Covid cloud and its impact on our lives. We started off from Delhi a few days ago and have since travelled through Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Everywhere we go, we meet people who have been affected by the pandemic in some way or the other.

We have heard stories of heartbreak and loss, of courage and hope. We have seen first-hand the devastation that the pandemic has wreaked on lives and livelihoods. But we have also seen the resilience of the human spirit, the way people have come together to support each other in these difficult times.

It has been an emotionally charged journey, but a deeply enriching one as well. I feel privileged to have been given this opportunity to bear witness to the Covid
