Maharashtra politicians meet with PM Modi and Shah to discuss the border conflict and the governor’s comments.

Maharashtra politicians met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday to discuss the border conflict with Gujarat and the governor’s comments on the issue. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Dhananjay Munde and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil.

BJP MP Udayanaraje Bhosale met PM Narendra Modi to seek action against Koshyari. Maharashtra has claimed 865 villages, including Belgaum (now Belgavi), Karwar and Nippani should be merged into Maharashtra. Karnataka has refused to part with its territory.
