In March 2024, banks across states will be closed for 14 days due to the Reserve Bank of India’s holiday list. Many states will observe three consecutive bank holidays twice, resulting in two long holiday weekends in Match. The holiday list includes specific states’ and RBI’s announcements, Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays, public holidays, and regional holidays.

Bank holidays in March 2024

Banks will be closed on Chapchar Kut, Sivarathri, Bihar Divas, Holi (Second Day), Dhuleti/Dol Jatra/Dhulandi, Yaosang 2nd Day/Holi, Holi, and Good Friday in March 2024.

Banks in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Uttara Khand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu-Sri Nagar, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Himachal Pradesh will be closed on March 8, following second Saturday and Sunday.
