Busloads of migrants were dropped over Christmas weekend near US vice president Kamala Harris’ residence in Washington. 110-130 migrants who were seeking asylum in the United States. Many of them were families with children, according to aid agencies working to help them enter the US.

They were handed blankets and taken to a church in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of the city by police officers waiting for them at a bus station.

The US state of Texas has been busing thousands of undocumented migrants to Democratic-controlled cities across the country. Texas governor Greg Abbott has been a vocal critic of the Joe Biden administration’s immigration policies. Earlier, some other Republican governors have also been transporting migrants to Democrat-dominated cities.
