PM Modi said on state day that “the people of Bihar are making an unparalleled contribution.”

Bihar Diwas is celebrated every year on March 22 to mark the formation of the state of Bihar. On this day, we remember the contributions of the people of Bihar in various fields.

This year, the Bihar Diwas celebrations were held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar unfurled the Bihar flag and took the salute at the march past. A number of cultural programmes were also organised on the occasion.

In his address on the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of Bihar are making an unparalleled contribution to the country’s development. He said that Bihar is playing an important role in the country’s progress.

The Prime Minister said that the state has made great strides in the fields of education, health and infrastructure. He said that the state government is working hard to provide employment to the youth.

Modi said that the central government is committed to the development of Bihar. He said that a special package of Rs. 1.25 lakh crore has been approved for the state.

The Prime Minister said that the people of Bihar have always been at the forefront of the country’s development. He said that the state has given many great leaders to the country.
