Gold and silver prices are affected by volatile policies, economic growth, and the Rupee’s strength against the US dollar. Gold prices in India saw a marginal gain on Wednesday, with a gram of 22 carat gold now costing ₹5,500, while prices of 8 grams and 10 grams have plunged by ₹160 and ₹200 respectively.

The price of 24 carat gold increased by ₹22 to ₹6,000, up from ₹48,000 and ₹60,000 yesterday.
