Rajnath on the LAC standoff: “PLA troops were sent back, and the subject was raised with China.”
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a lot of focus on China and the role they played in the outbreak. Recently, there has been another issue that has arisen between China and India, and that is the LAC standoff.
Rajnath Singh, the Minister of Defense for India, spoke about the standoff and said that the PLA troops were sent back and the subject was raised with China. He also said that the situation is now under control and that both sides are talking to each other to resolve the issue.
It is good to see that both sides are talking and trying to resolve the issue, as it could have easily escalate into something much worse. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon and China and India can focus on more important things, like fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
