Kanye West’s honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago was reportedly revoked due to his anti-Semitic comments. West made the comments during a recent interview with TMZ, in which he said that “Jews are the real owners of the world.” He also said that “the media is Jewish owned” and that “the Rothschilds control the central banks of the world.”

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago has not officially commented on the reports, but a source close to the situation told the Chicago Tribune that the honorary degree has been revoked. This is not the first time that West has been accused of making anti-Semitic comments; he was previously criticized for a lyric on his album “Yeezus” in which he said that “Jewish people own all the property in America.”
