Review visit by the aviation minister at the Delhi airport amid traffic worries. Watch

The aviation minister visited the Delhi airport to review the situation amid concerns about traffic. He was accompanied by officials from the Delhi airport and the Delhi government. The minister was briefed about the steps taken to improve the situation. He was also apprised of the measures taken to reduce the congestion at the airport. The minister was satisfied with the progress made so far and directed the officials to continue the efforts to improve the situation.

India’s aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has visited the Delhi airport for a review amid concerns over congestion. This comes days after the civil aviation ministry had ordered a slew of measures at the IGI to improve passenger flow and safety.

A proposal has been made to reduce 14 flights at T3, 11 in T2 and 8 in T1, a ministry official had said. Aviation Minister also said he will take stock of the security arrangements for major airports like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
