Rising rates for gold and silver; 10 grammes of yellow metal are going for Rs. 51,600.

On Saturday, gold prices increased by Rs 220, bringing the price of 10 kilos of 24-carat gold to Rs 56,290. The cost of silver per kilogramme also increased from yesterday’s close by Rs 100. The price per kilogramme of the precious metal was Rs 72,000.

According to the GoodReturns website, the price of 22-carat gold increased by Rs 200 from yesterday’s closing to Rs 51,600.

10 grammes of 24- and 22-carat gold are being sold for Rs 51,600 and Rs 56,290, respectively, in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

10 grammes of 24- and 22-carat gold are currently selling in Delhi for Rs 56,440 and Rs 51,750, respectively. 10 grammes of 24- and 22-carat gold are available in Chennai for Rs 57,250 and Rs 52,500, respectively.

US gold prices reached an over eight-month high on Friday, holding above the crucial pivot point of $1,900 per ounce as falling inflation stoked expectations for more gradual Federal Reserve interest rate increases.

By 2:11 p.m. ET (1911 GMT), spot gold had increased 1.3% to $1,920.70 per ounce, the highest price since the end of April 2022. This week, the metal has gained 2.9% so far.
