Safdarjung in Delhi experiences the season’s coldest temperature at 3°C; Ayanagar records 2.2°C.
Delhi woke up to a cold and foggy morning today, with the minimum temperature recorded at 3 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average, the Meteorological department said.
The MeT department has forecast cold and foggy weather for the national capital region for the next two days.
The visibility at 8.30 am was 200 meters at Safdarjung and Ayanagar, it said.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 97 per cent.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 17 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
The minimum temperature on Tuesday was 4.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average.
Delhiites have been shivering for the past few days as the minimum temperature has been hovering below the 5-degree mark.
The cold wave conditions are likely to continue in the national capital for the next few days, the MeT department has said.
