Bigg Boss 18: Fans praise Salman Khan for owning up to his past bad attitude, not giving police officers respect
Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan shared that there have been instances in his own life where he should have behaved differently.
Bigg Boss 18: In the latest Weekend Ka War episode, Salman Khan did not seem impressed by contestant Rajat Dalal’s behaviour inside the house. The host was seen recalling incidents where Rajat threatened other contestants inside the house and told him to correct his attitude when talking to other members of the house. He went on to cite examples from his own life, when he acted flippantly. Fans reacted to the clip and praised the actor for owning up to his mistakes in public. What Salman said
In the episode, when Rajat said that it has become his habit to keep his legs on the table when he sits, Salman added, “Yes, I also have that habit. If you have noticed old clips of mine from years ago, it shows Salman Khan at the police station and look how disrespectfully he is sitting there. But I had no involvement there so why will I look scared? But, when the official arrives with the senior, who has his badge… to stand up and give him the respect…”

‘It seems as if I am vain, arrogant’
He added, “So when I myself look at those clippings where I am sitting that way that I do not feel good about it. ‘What was I doing there like this?’ Now I have a way of walking. I cannot change that. It seems as if I am vain, arrogant. No! I come in front of you and talk in that voice. My voice is stronger than yours. But the choice is that I do not speak like that.”

The fan page attached a clip of Salman from years ago, when he was reportedly at the police station. He was seen sitting with his knees touching the table, looking at the people across him.

Fan reactions
Reacting to Salman’s comments, a fan commented, “He is real true hearted person.” Another said, “It takes a real man to own up to his mistakes and grow from them. Gotta say, today’s Weekend Ka Vaar was the best of the season—loved how Salman explained things to the contestants!” A comment read, “Every time this man accepted his faults/mistakes… Such a pure soul.” “What a person… a truthful man,” said another.

Maruti Suzuki Q3 2025: Revenue rises 15.67%, net profit up 16.21%

Published

on

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country’s leading automobile manufacturer, announced its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025, ending December 31, 2024. The company reported a 12.6% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit, reaching ₹3,525 crore, up from ₹3,130 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

business-standard.com

Revenue for the quarter rose by 15.6% to ₹38,492.1 crore, compared to ₹33,308.7 crore in Q3 FY24. This growth was primarily driven by robust sales in the utility vehicles segment, which includes high-margin SUVs. The utility vehicle segment experienced a 20.2% increase in sales during the quarter.

business-standard.com

Despite the positive growth in revenue and profit, the company’s performance fell slightly short of market expectations. Analysts had projected a net profit of ₹3,662 crore, but the actual figure was ₹3,525 crore. This shortfall is attributed to higher sales promotion expenses and increased costs related to clearing inventory, which amounted to ₹680 crore.

The small car segment, encompassing popular models like the WagonR and Swift, faced a 3.7% decline in sales. This downturn reflects a broader market trend favoring SUVs over smaller vehicles. In the third quarter, small cars accounted for approximately 30% of Maruti’s sales, while utility vehicles comprised about 67%.

In response to rising costs, Maruti Suzuki has announced plans to increase car prices across its range. This move aims to mitigate the impact of higher expenses and maintain profitability.

Overall, Maruti Suzuki’s Q3 FY25 results highlight the company’s resilience in a competitive market, with significant growth in revenue and net profit driven by strong performance in the utility vehicle segment. However, challenges such as increased promotional expenses and shifting consumer preferences towards SUVs have impacted the company’s traditional small car segment.

Dimple Kapadia’s “excellent” natural haircare components are the keys to her most beautiful hair: Egg with onion juice

Published

on

Celebrities’ haircare secrets are always a mystery; but we’ve got the scoop. Here are some tips from veteran actor Dimple Kapadia, known for her luscious hair.

Ever wondered what the secret to Dimple Kapadia’s ‘glossy and shiny’ locks is? You’re in luck as the Bollywood A-lister shared the haircare tips and tricks she’s picked up over the years in a 2021 interview with Vogue India, and they are pretty much the best hair care advice you will ever get. The best part? Dimple’s inexpensive haircare tips could help you achieve healthy, beautiful locks without breaking the bank. ‘Oil your hair and do not colour it’
Speaking about her ‘glossy and shiny’ hair, the actor credited the ‘habit of oiling’ that started in her childhood, and said, “Oiling goes a long, long way. I oil my hair overnight, then get a head massage with a homemade hair pack, which is a mixture of eggs (5 whites and a whole egg) and a banana. I leave it on for 10-30 minutes and then wash it through with lukewarm water… the habit of oiling was prevalent throughout my childhood, and it helped as I have always had very dry, thick and coarse hair. Without the amount of professional styling I’ve had over the years, it would not look so glossy and shiny.”

‘Onion juice is excellent for the hair’
Dimple, 67, added, “My secret hair oil recipe is a concoction of almond and sandalwood oil as a base, with geranium, rosemary and lavender essential oils. This is the legacy I’ll pass down to my grandchildren – oil your hair and do not colour it… onion juice is excellent for the hair but I think, the safer option is to use the onion extract oils you get now.”

Diet for healthy hair
Dimple’s healthy hair diet included fish that can provide essential nutrients for promoting hair growth and maintaining healthy locks. The actor said that she ‘ate a lot of fish growing up’ as her family lived in a coastal area, adding that ‘really helped’ her hair.

Dimple suggested that you ‘include lots of protein in your diet, eat balanced meals and include seeds and nuts’ to provide your hair with the essential nutrients it needs to stay healthy, strong, and beautiful.
