Shock inspection at the Delhi airport by the aviation minister. Watch
The aviation minister recently paid a shock inspection to the Delhi airport. Upon arrival, he was not happy with what he saw. There was litter everywhere and the place was in general disarray. He has ordered for a clean-up operation to be carried out immediately and has also asked for a report on the matter.
Minister for Civil Aviation Vikramaditya Scindia is working with airlines to reduce peak hour departures at India’s major airports, an official said. Air passengers have complained of increasing delays at major airports such as Delhi and Mumbai over the last few months.
