Silver stays the same as gold drops by Rs 600, with yellow metal trading at Rs 54,220.

The price of silver remained unchanged while the price of gold dropped by Rs 600 on Wednesday. Gold was trading at Rs 54,220 per 10 grams. Silver prices have been volatile in recent weeks, but have generally trended downwards. Gold prices, on the other hand, have been more stable.

Silver prices remained unchanged and precious metal was selling at Rs 70,100 per kg. In Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, 10 gram of 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 54,220 and Rs 49,700 per gram respectively.

Spot gold rose 0.2% to $1,796.53 per ounce by 2:22 p.m. ET (1922 GMT), while U.S. gold futures settled up 0.5% on Friday. Gold prices in India were trading at a range of between Rs 54,380 and Rs 50,690 per gram.
