Speakers and lawmakers in the legislature don masks out of worry for a Chinese Covid version.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to ravage the world, lawmakers and speakers in the legislature are taking extra precautions to protect themselves from the virus. Out of worry for a Chinese Covid version, many are now donning masks whenever they are in the chamber.
This is a wise move, given that the virus is still very much a threat. Though there are vaccines available, they are not 100% effective. So, by wearing masks, these lawmakers and speakers are doing their part to protect themselves and others from the virus.
Hopefully, this will help to prevent any further spread of the virus and help to keep everyone safe.
