The Sri Lankan government has announced that it will be relaxing its restrictions on international visitors in order to boost the country’s tourism industry. This comes as the country has been successful in containing the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Under the new rules, which will come into effect from August 1st, international visitors will no longer be required to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. Instead, they will only need to present a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of their flight.

This is great news for the tourism industry in Sri Lanka, which has been hard hit by the pandemic. With the country now open for business, we are sure to see an influx of visitors in the coming months.
