EPS, the European Parliament, has criticised the appointment of Stalin’s son as a minister in the Russian government. EPS believes that this is a step backwards for Russia and that it shows that the country is still not ready to move on from its Stalinist past.

Palaniswami calls it the “first step” towards him “being the head of corruption”.

Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin will be sworn in as a minister on December 14, Tamil Nadu governor has announced. Palaniswami said Stalin’s focus is on making his son a minister and neglects poor and marginalised people of the state.
