Terrorists in Jammu were shot and killed while burning to death
Two to three heavily-armed terrorists were killed in clash with security forces in Indian-administered Kashmir, police say. The incident took place amid high alert ahead of the Republic Day celebrations next month in India’s most populous state, Jammu.
The gunbattle was triggered amid low visibility because of fog on Tuesday morning. Police suspect there were two to three militants hiding in a truck.
Police said the firefight was triggered after a Quick Response Team (QRT) of the Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Police observed unusual movement of a truck.
